Green Hell Releases Animal Husbandry Update for Consoles

Taming the Wild

Attention console players currently in the jungle. The time for animal taming has come. It’s time to start your very own animal collection.  Today, Creepy Jar is happy to announce that the console version of their survival sim, Green Hell, is receiving the Animal Husbandry update. The update, bringing console gamers closer to their PC comrades, is introducing a host of new features but the most prominent is the ability to tame animals. Of course, a press release provides details on the update as well as the game itself. Additionally, a new console update release trailer allows players to see just the kind of animals available to them in the jungle.

Green Hell

Green Hell places players in the uncharted setting of the Amazon Rainforest. Playing as the main character, Jake, players are left to survive the darkness after barely clinging to life. Obviously they are going to need to survive. This includes, hunting, fishing, crafting, and befriending the Amazonian tribes living in the jungle. Obviously surviving is hard work, yet there are ways to make your stay in the Amazon a bit easier.

Of course, with the new update players can now look forward to taming their very own wild animals. With the update, players will be able to use the blowpipe to put animals to sleep and safely put them in pens. Importantly, players will have a whole new list of animals to interact with including the capybara, peccary, and tapir. Players can also look forward to taming and using bees for honey and even more with the update. Check out the trailer below.

Green Hell is currently available on PC, via Steam, Xbox and PlayStation consoles. So, which animals are you going to tame first? And why is the capybara?
