This Summer, prepare to enter a world of absolute darkness. A world of grim dark fantasy, deep lore, nightmares, and most importantly, strategy. Today, Covenant.dev and Team17 are happy to announce that their dark fantasy strategy game, Gord, is releasing this Summer. Releasing on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S the game invites players to enter a dark world full of monsters. Gord places players in the lead of the Tribe of Dawn. In this dark world, the tribe is attempting to make new settlements called Gords. Yet, the world is eerie and full of horrific monsters inspired from Slavic folklore. Players will need to think strategically to ensure the survival of their people, growing their Gord from a humble place into a fortress shining in the darkness. Importantly, the world is full of evil and dangers. Players will need their settlement to weather other tribes, monsters, and even a unique sanity system will threaten your Gords existence.Â
