Let’s Get Ready to Rumble
Everyone’s favorite bombastic bandicoot is back. Choose your friends who you want to take into battle, and get ready to rumble. Tomorrow, Activision is happy to be releasing the Closed Beta of their upcoming arena brawler, Crash Team Rumble. The newest installment of Crash Bandicoot games is making players squad up and catch a glimpse of the game with the closed beta. A press release provides some details about the beta and the game itself. Additionally, a pre-order trailer gives players a glimpse of the gameplay.
Crash Team Rumble reintroduces players to all the Crash Bandicoot characters they know and love. Now, they are pitting teams against each other in 4v4 arena matches where they must collect Wumpa fruit before the other team. Of course, players will be able to block their score zone from the opposing team. The the closed beta includes five fan favorite characters including Crash, Cortex, and Coco.
Importantly the beta is available to anyone who pre-ordered the game for Xbox or PlayStation consoles. Those players will be able to jump into the game at 10am PT from April 20th-24th. Featuring five characters and three maps, players will be able to learn all about the game. Of course, this means players get to experiment with maps and learn how to play. Importantly, experience and any other collectibles will not carry over to the base game. The closed beta is all in the name of fun.
