Xbox 360 Controller Design Coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S

Turn 360° and Walk Away

There is always someone out there that yearns for the good old days of a particular game or game era. Half of Nintendo’s market is based in nostalgia. Hyperkin is banking on some of that love for the Xbox 360 controller they have designed.

Named after the 360’s codename, the Xenon is an Xbox 360 controller design that is compatible with Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows 10/11 devices. It was first revealed in November 2022 and will be available to pre-order in May.

Xbox 360 Controller

The Xenon is exactly how you remember. It has the curvy shape, the nubs on the joysticks, the rounded D-pad, and the Guide button. The Forward and Back buttons are replaced by the Xbox One’s new buttons and has a screenshot button as well. It is also wired, so that you can REALLY go back to that era. It appears that the Xenon will launch in at least four colors. There is classic white, black, pink, and red.

If you remember switching over from the Xbox 360 to Xbox One, you may remember who much of an improvement the newer design was. Despite the feeling of nostalgia for the Xbox 360 controller, is it something you actually want to use again?

Whether you plan on playing the modern games with an older controller or you want it to sit on your shelf, you can pre-order it on May 5th. The Hyperkin Xenon will be available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows 10/11 devices.
