Leap, Team-Based Shooter, Launches Into Combat Today

Jump Into The Fight 

Console combat is upon you players. It’s time to lock and load, gear up, and jump into action. Today, Blue Isle Studios is bringing their squad-based sci-fi FPS, Leap, to consoles. Out now for PlayStation and Xbox consoles, players on all platforms can join the experience that features user-generated content, diverse maps, and a roadmap of planned content. A press release provides details about the console release of the game. Additionally, a new trailer shows off the features of the game at launch. 

Leap Feature

Leap places players in squad-based battles raging between factions. Players will be able to choose from four unique classes, each with their own playstyles and abilities. Doing battle across a diverse selection of maps, these mercenary soldiers are well-equipped for combat. Of course, as a futuristic soldier in a sci-fi war, you will have a whole arsenal of weapons, gadgets, vehicles, and more to eradicate your enemies and claim victory for your faction. 

The launch to console features many of the highly lauded features of the PC launch. For instance, the console launch includes custom private servers, a diverse array of maps and modes, and a content roadmap. Importantly, the roadmap includes things like new gear and new game modes like Capture the Core and Dreadnaught, which will feature ship-to-ship combat.
