Sword of the Necromancer: Revenant Reaches End of Kickstarter

Goals Achieved

It’s always fantastic news when a game in development reaches its goals. Especially a game with so much ambition. Today, Grimorio of Games is happy to announce the final hours of the Kickstarter for their in-development ARPG, Sword of the Necromancer: Revenant. Importantly, the game is a functional sequel to the original continuing the story that was started in the first game. A press release provides more info on the goals the Kickstarter met. Of course, a trailer from last month gives players a look at the game.

Sword of the Necromancer: Revenant

Sword of the Necromancer: Revenant is building upon features reviewed from the first game. For instance, players can expect all of the same base mechanics, but now new and improved. Importantly, the game still allows players to use the titular blade to change foes into allies. However, this adventure is bringing a fully overhauled combat system. This includes the possibility of air combos, hero swapping, chain hits, and more. Furthermore, the world is now an open world full of cities, towns, and open fields full of people to meet and places to explore.

The game has raised over €120,000 of its €15,000 goal. Of course, all backers will be able to purchase the game for a lower price upon its release. Additionally, players who have yet to back can check out the Kickstarter trailer to sway their opinion in the last hours of the fundraiser.

Sword of the Necromancer: Revenant is currently available to wish list on Steam. For more information on the game be sure to head over to the Kickstarter page.
