Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising Showcases Upcoming Character Anila
In January 2023, CyGames along with publisher, Arc System Works, announced that Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising, the sequel to Granblue Fantasy: Versus, will release sometime in 2023. The game is set to release on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Recently, the companies announced one of the characters, Anila. Furthermore, the company has released a video showcasing the playable character.
Additionally, in the trailer, viewers get a great look at Anila, a fast-paced female fighter. She is described as follows, “Feel the fury of the ram! Anila, Queen of Sheep and Guardian of the South-Southwest, is the first new playable character joining the roster of Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising!” Also, players will use Anila’s control of sheep as an offensive tool in battle as she defeats her enemies. The game will also feature new mechanics such as the Dash Attack and New Triple Attack.
The series goes beyond a mere fighting game. Players in the upcoming title will be free to enjoy other cool features such as arcade gaming, emoting, dancing and Fall Guys styled party games. Moreover, players will be able to enjoy fresh features such as a new story, new characters and cross play between PlayStation and PC. Although there is no release date just yet, Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising is set to be a great release for the year.
