Folk Heroes Unite
Prepare to step into a world of legends. A world of fairytales come to life. Today, NACON and Passtech Games are happy to unveil a new trailer for their upcoming co-op roguelite game, Ravenswatch. The trailer shows off the first six playable characters of the game. Importantly, each character leaps right out of a fairytale confronting hordes of nightmares. Ravenswatch places players in the shoes of folk lore and fairytale legends who are combatting the Nightmares. The entire world of Reverie is at stake and whether alone, or with up to three other players, you must combat the nightmares. Of course, the game provides a complete top-down RPG experience featuring ability upgrades, quests, loot for your characters, and more. The playable characters of Ravenswatch all come with unique abilities, powers and backstories.
Importantly, players have the choice to pick between six different characters. Each of them comes from a different story, though they may not be like you remember. For instance, the Little Red Riding Hood of Reverie is a lycanthrope who dealt with the Big Bad Wolf long ago. She wields two daggers during the day, and transforms into a werewolf at night. However, she is but one of the folk tale heroes at your disposal. Check out the other five in the character reveal trailer.
Ravenswatch is launching into Steam Early Access on April 6th, 2023. Additionally the game is coming to Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch consoles in 2024. So, are you ready to enter a world of fairytales and save the day?
