Today Cloak & Dagger Games is happy to announce the Nintendo Switch release of their point-and-click adventure game, The Excavation of Hob’s Barrow. In addition to the release of the game, Cloak & Dagger can proudly boast they are the recipients of IGF Honorable Mention for Excellence in Narrative. The Excavation of Hob’s Barrow introduces players to Antiquarian Thomasina Bateman. In the process of writing a book she receives a letter. This letter summons her to the village of Bewley. Yet, in this village she discovers a mystery. Not everything here is as it first appears. And there is a supernatural force in the air. Her assistant, the man who sent the letter, is missing. Of course, only Thomasina can solve the disappearance.
Using classic point-and-click controls players will navigate a whole cast of characters in a fantastic environment. Importantly, the game introduces players to a strange and dreary atmosphere full of puzzle encounters. Players can check out the Nintendo Switch version of the game below.
