A Sequel Is Coming
Prepare yourselves for a new entry in a world of dungeon crawling and city building. Today, Grimorio of Games is happy to announce they will be launching a Kickstarter for their upcoming ARPG, Sword of the Necromancer: Revenant. Announcing the game just two years after the original, the sequel is taking the same fundraising approach as the first. Of course, a press release provides more details on the, in development, sequel. Additionally, players can check out the first official trailer for the game for a glimpse of what is to come.
Sword of the Necromancer: Revenant is building upon the feedback from the first game. For instance, players can expect all of the same base mechanics, but now new and improved. Of course, players can still use the sword of the necromancer to change fallen foes into allies. However, this time, you can expect a fully improved battle system featuring air combos, hero swapping, and chain hits. Furthermore, this time, players will be adventuring outside of the dungeon. You will be able to discover the world like never before. explore cities, towns and open fields while helping people along the way. Of course, all of this while you work to rebuild the town of Euda to its former glory.
The Kickstarter is launching in a few weeks. Though no date has been given yet, the press release says it will launch within weeks. Players can get a brief look at the game from the first trailer.
