Like a Farmer
Next month, Like a Dragon is going to back to the feudal era Japan… Again! The remake of Like a Dragon: Ishin is coming out on February 21st on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. The original was not released outside of Japan, so this will be the first experience the West gets of this.
The series has grown and evolved a bit since the original Ishin came out in 2014. A lot has been added to the game, including some life sim elements. Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio shared a few clips showing off the softer side of Like a Dragon: Ishin.
Like a Dragon is best known for its brawler-style combat and its goofy side stories. There are elements in Like a Dragon: Ishin that highlight a different life, a simpler life. Ryoma can do things like tend to his garden, which appears to be a farming mini-game for collecting ingredients. These ingredients are then used for a cooking mini-game.
Another Life sees Ryoma temporarily sheathe his sword in exchange for life on the farm. Gather food using traditional methods and put your culinary skills to the test in this relaxing and heart-warming side story.#LikeaDragonIshin pic.twitter.com/bOfdmPP90m
