TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge Has Officially Released A Free UpdateÂ
Earlier this year, Dotemu released TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge on PlayStation, Xbox, PC and the Nintendo Switch, The game saw great success, selling over one million copies in its first week along with a port to the PlayStation 5. Today, as Christmas approaches, the team has dropped a free update for the fans to bring on the holiday season. In the update, players will enjoy new features as well as quality of life improvements. Also, interested fans will enjoy a 20% discount until January 5th.
Players can now enjoy CRT and VCR filters. The developers stated, “You can now choose between 3 filters to enjoy TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge like a good ol’ Saturday morning cartoon. So bring your PJs and your cereals, nostalgia is waiting for you.” Furthermore, there is now a custom arcade mode to enjoy thanks to Dip Switches. The team noted, “You can now customize your TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge experience as you please thanks to the Dip Switches!”
As a result, players can customize their experience by changing mechanics and adjusting settings to their liking. It adds a great twist to the game. The developer blog concluded by thanking fans for their support since the game’s release and that the company is looking forward to 2023.
In TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, players jump into the shoes of their favorite Ninja Turtles as Shredder, Bepop, Rocksteady and other infamous villains attack the city. Players must hit the streets quickly to save the day!
