High on Life Players Can Watch Full Tammy and the T-Rex Film
High on Life is the new shooter from Squanch Games. This studio belongs to Rick and Morty Creator Justin Roiland. What makes this game even more interesting is that it comes with the full sci-fi horror comedy Tammy and the T-Rex from 1994.
The game will let player watch the entire movie from start to finish. One fan pointed out on social media that the accompanying movie is actually the uncut Vinegar Syndrome edition of the movie from 2019. Fans are sharing that it seems to be an odd choice of film. In fact, its inclusion in High on Life has made fans wonder what devs were actually planning to do.
High on Life players even noticed several commercial breaks throughout the film. Many fans are speculating that this could be due to the lack of ability to pause and scrub through the movie. After all, devs used a different form of medium to present the movie.
However, the High on Life community has shared that they found multiple issues with the screen suddenly going dark. Apparently, the screen would go black for no reason either a few minutes in or after one of the ad breaks. This ends up forcing players to restart the film all over again.
Players of the shooter should be aware that they are not getting any achievement for the game just because they finished the movie all the way through. Basically, the 90-minute film is there for their own enjoyment. Players who do not want to watch it are not obliged to do so.
It is worth noting that this game is actually not the first to come with a whole movie. After all, The Darkness came with To Kill a Mockingbird and The Man with the Golden Arm. Plus, the original Destroy All Humans also included Plan 9 From Outer Space, with the remake opting for Teenagers From Outer Space.
