Steelrising Releases Cagliostro’s Secrets DLC

A Dark Secret 

It’s time to return to Revolutionary France once more. This time, the darkness of the city is reaching a crescendo. Today developer Spiders and publisher NACON are happy to announce the release of the first DLC for their action RPG Steelrising. The DLC, named Cagliostro’s Secrets, pits players against an agent of the king himself, as the seek to uncover a deeper mystery. A press release provides more info on the DLC itself. Additionally, a trailer for the Cagliostro’s Secrets gives players a look at exactly what they can expect. 

Steelrising introduces players to Aegis. An automaton dancer turned warrior and bodyguard for Marie Antoinette. Importantly, Aegis is heavily involved of the political, social, and combative stage of the French Revolution. However, in this alternate history, the revolution is facing King Louis XVI’s automaton army. Now, under the Queens orders, Aegis will navigate the ruined streets of Paris. Where each battle is a challenge. 

In the new DLC, Cagliostro’s Secrets, players will hunt down the secrets behind the power of the King’s Automatons. Importantly this will include journeying to the darkest parts of Paris and facing off against the King’s Agent: the Comte de Cagliostro. Of course there are also new challenges awaiting you. For instance, Cagliostro’s Mesmer-inspired machinery is waiting around every corner. Yet, players can look forward to unlocking new weapons and outfits as rewards. 

Steelrising is currently available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Additionally the base game costs $56.99. So, it’s time to delve into some secrets. Are you ready?
