Retro Looking Modern Action Returns

Johnny Turbo is back. This time he’s cranking the violence up further. Anything to defeat the evil A.I. he is up against. Today Apogee Entertainment announced that the second episode of their cyberpunk FPS, Turbo Overkill, is arriving to Steam this Halloween. This episode continues the story of Johnny Turbo and his bloody crusade to free the dystopian city of Paradise. A press release provides details about what’s coming with episode two. Additionally, a new trailer gives players a glimpse of what new things await them in Paradise.

Turbo Overkill

Turbo Overkill episode 2 brings back everyone’s favorite gun toting hero. However, this time he has even more toys to play with. Of course, in his bloody and spectacular crusade to defeat the dreaded A.I. Syn and it’s army, Johnny is gonna need some new weapons. Luckily, episode 2 has him covered. Across 11 new campaign levels, players can look forward to using not only three new weapons, but a chainsaw-motorcycle. Importantly players can look forward to frying Syn’s minions with the plasma gun, marking them for devastating orbital strikes with the Ion Blaster, or catch enemies in their sights with the Telefragger: a sniper that teleports within foes to blow them apart.

Of course players can see all of the new toys they get to play with in the episode 2 trailer. Take a look at the motorcycle combat, the new grappling hook, and the new weapons.

Turbo Overkill episode 2 is releasing on Halloween this year. It will be available for $19.95. The game is currently in Early Access. So, are you ready to get back to blasting?
