Run, Roach!

Earlier this week, CD Projekt RED held a showcase of all things Cyberpunk 2077. They showed off a bunch of stuff, including the upcoming DLC expansion and a sneak peek at the Edgerunners anime. CDPR also dropped a surprise update to the game.

The Cyberpunk 2077 1.6 update added several new features, items, and things to do around Night City. With the new transmog feature, players can customize their V’s clothing without compromising their armor stats. Along with new missions, there is a new playable arcade game that fans of The Witcher will appreciate.

Cyberpunk 2077

Roach Race is an in-game 2D runner that can be played at arcades. It features everyone’s favorite horse, Roach from The Witcher series. The game takes Roach to all sorts of familiar locations on the Continent. There are obstacles, such as holes in the ground, barriers, and monsters that players will have to avoid by jumping over or running under.

Having Cyberpunk 2077 is not the only way to play Roach Race though. It is available as a free standalone game on iOS and Android. The leaderboard on the arcade machines have familiar characters from The Witcher, but players will only be competing against high scores in their game. The mobile app’s leaderboard will pit you against other players around the world.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Stadia. Roach Race is available to download on iOS and Android devices.
