Backpack Hero is a unique roguelike dungeon crawler in which players really need to manage their inventory. Importantly, every hero has a magic backpack, however, this doesn’t mean unlimited space. Players will need to ensure they take what they need and organize it to ensure they have the equipment, health, and more. Misplacing an item could mean death for the run, and placing certain items together may even give them a boost. Of course, it’s a learning curve with a a lot to unpack, no pun intended. However, the newest character may help players out with their inventory issues.
Satchel, the newest character in Backpack Hero, provides players with a way to expand their inventory. Importantly, they are capable of creating bags with multiple different pockets, all to gain an inventory advantage. Of course, players can get a glimpse of Satchel in the new trailer for them.
