Nothing Is True, Everything Is Alcohol
There are some things that can be sold no matter what. There are also brands that can sell anything. Combine them and you get some pretty wild products, like KISS lunchboxes. It’s no different in the world of video games, as made evident by the Assassin’s Creed whiskey.
A licensing, bottling, and distribution company called Antheum Studios is making some Assassin’s Creed liquor. Their game is to build up a stock of drinks inspired by different video games and films. Right now, they only have plans with AC products.
Right now, customers in 37 states can order straight bourbon whiskey for the 15th anniversary of the Assassin’s Creed series. I guess they couldn’t wait for the 19th or 21st anniversary (depending on where you can legally drink). Each bottle will cost you $69. Nice.
The whiskey’s description reads. “Leap into history and celebrate 15 years of working in the dark to serve the light. Antheum Studios and Tennessee Legend Distillery present Assassin’s Creed Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Crafted in the hill country of Texas and finished in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, this 4 year old straight bourbon whiskey carries a rich flavor with rye spice, wheat character, and hints of cherry, vanilla and oak. Appealing to spirit connoisseurs and fans alike, this iconic selection is a worthy addition to any bar. Game hard, drink responsibly.”
This is the only product available from Antheum Studios right now, but this month they are planning to also sell spiced rum and vodka inspired by AC: Black Flag and Valhalla, respectively.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Stadia.
