Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok Unlocks Godlike Powers

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok Will Transform Players Into Gods

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok fans are in for a treat when the expansion launches on March 10th. Ubisoft has never shied away from reinventing the series to give its community a more enjoyable gaming experience.

Players will be taking on the role of Odin on a mission to rescue his son. Players will be getting access to some over-the-top supernatural powers that are unlike anything they have seen in the franchise before.

Equipped with a new mythical bracer called the Hugr-Rip, Odin is able to acquire powerful abilities from fallen foes that open new doors to gameplay and strategy,” confirmed Content Communications Specialist Kristen Zitani. “Unlike abilities through the main game through discovered Books of Knowledge, these powers are not permanent and are driven by exploration.

To give the game some balance, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok devs will only allow Odin to have two of these godlike powers at a time.

“If a new power is discovered, the player must choose which to keep and which to toss until the next time it is encountered in the world,” Zitani continued. “Instead of using adrenaline points, these powers are active for as long as Odin’s Hugr meter stays filled.”

The game’s five new powers will unlock new strategies that will allow players to customize their godlike play style.

Power of Muspelheim will transform the player’s skin into magma. Odin can then travel across lava without any harm. Power of the Raven will transform Odin into a raven. This will allow him to fly over far stretches of land and swoop in on unsuspecting enemies. Power of Winter will infuse Odin’s weapon with ice for devastating strikes. Players can use the Power of Rebirth to resurrect enemies so they can fight on his side. Lastly, Power of Jotunheim will transport Odin within short distances when rolling and dodging.
