Hat delivery isn’t always easy. In fact, sometimes things go very wrong. It’s time to take matters into your own hands. No more Mr. nice Sun. Today developer Kenny Sun and publisher Raw Fury are happy to show off their upcoming slapstick platformer, Mr. Sun’s Hatbox, today at Gamescom 2022. A press release provides more information. Additionally, the announcement trailer gives players a look at what they can expect from Mr. Sun.Â
Mr. Sun’s Hatbox places players in control of the quirky and fun employees of Mr. Sun’s delivery service. Starting from the humble beginnings of just Mr. Sun, players will quickly build up their HQ and hire new staff to ensure you can get back your stolen hatbox. Every mission you embark on will take you to procedurally generated levels full of obstacles, enemies, and challenges. Of course, players can choose how they want to handle the job at hand. Will you go in weapons at the ready? Or is stealth more your forte? Either way, the mission remains clear, get the hatbox back by any means necessary.Â
Player will be able to expand their HQ, recruit new staff, prepare for the next mission, and collect new hats. Of course, none of this will ensure your workers coming back safe though. Players can get a glimpse of the platforming gameplay in the announcement trailer.
