Genshin Impact 3.0 is Almost Here
A new update means all kinds of new goodies, but it also makes for one hell of a wait. But if you know exactly when that wait will end, it’ll help things go by just a bit faster. Here’s when Genshin Impact 3.0 is set to unlock, relative to these time zones:
- Los Angeles:Â 8 pm PT (Aug 23)
- New York:Â 11 pm ET (Aug 23)
- London:Â 4 am BST (Aug 24)
- Paris:Â 5 am CEST (Aug 24)
Those times are all aligned, so if your time zone isn’t listed there, feel free to plug a number of your choice into a time zone converter of your choice. You’ll get the answer you’re looking for no matter what.
One thing to note, though: server maintenance will take the game offline while 3.0 deploys. The time on that can vary, but it’s not expected to last more than 5 hours. You won’t be able to play the game during that time, or even log on. So once you’ve figured out when Genshin Impact 3.0 launches in your time zone, don’t plan on playing the game for a few hours before that. Go outside and touch some grass or something, while you await the real deal in Genshin Impact’s immaculate open world.
You can also get a pre-install running on your end, so you can log in and play as soon as you are physically able. Open up that funny little launcher and get that download going. Its completion doesn’t mean you can immediately play though – you still have to wait for the launch like everyone else. You’ll just get the download finished early.
