Driving Simulator Taxi Life Speeds To Release In 2023
In 2021, Nacon and Simteract partnered to release Train Life: A Railway Simulator on PC and consoles. The companies have once again partnered to release Taxi Life: A City Driving Simulator on PC and consoles. The game is set to release sometime in 2023 as Nacon rebranded the game for its ‘Life’ series.
Taxi Life was originally set to release into early access on PC this year, however, Simteract decided that it would release Version 1.0 of the game on PC and consoles in 2023. David Talmat, Nacon’s head of marketing, stated that the game is, “a great concept we know gamers will love, a great city to explore, and this concept of driving but also managing your company. This is exactly what we look to deliver in Life games.”
In the game, players will take on the role of a hard-working taxi driver in the city of Barcelona, a Spanish metropolis. Furthermore, players must be prepared to navigate difficult situations such as traffic jams, harsh weather, bumpy roads and accidents. Moreover, players must be able to get their passengers safely to their destination while paying bills and fines, managing the vehicle and hiring a crew of professional drivers.
Nacon along with Simteract decided to rebrand the game as it prepares to launch Train Life: A Railway Simulator later this month. Additionally, fans of Train Life can look forward to various other titles in the franchise such as Chef Life, Hotel Life and more.
