The new images were originally posted by @R3AL1TYUK on Twitter, but have now been taken down following DMCA strikes by Activision. However, the images have since been reuploaded on Imgur by Charlie Intel. The images have leaked 4 maps from Modern Warfare 2, the first being Grand Prix, the second is Oilfield, the third is Museum, and the fourth is Saba.

The leaker has since created a new Twitter account @RealiityUK, it is likely that the new account will also be taken down very soon. However, the new account has leaked the names of what seems to be all of Modern Warfare 2’s launch maps and is alleging they have photos of them. The names of the rest of the new maps are Dogtown, Esports Gym, Exhume, Fallout, Favela, Firing Range, Floating Bay, Killhouse, Lighthouse, Luxury, Mountain Town, Narcos.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is set to be a direct sequel to the highly-acclaimed Modern Warfare 2019. According to the campaign reveal trailer, the game brings back Taskforce 141 and fan-favorite characters such as Simon “Ghost” Riley, Kyle “Gaz” Garrick, John “Soap” MacTavish, and more. The game is set to feature new swimming mechanics, and a new gunsmith, but will still not feature a destructible environment.

The game is available for pre-order right now and is set to release on October 28, 2022, on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, as well as PC.
