Treasures of the Gods
Yesterday was the day that so many PlayStation fans have been waiting for (some very impatiently). God of War Ragnarok’s release date has been announced for November. As it is customary for big release date announcements, we also learned of all the different editions of the game.
If you want to pre-order the game, what are several options for you, depending on how much money you want to spend. There is the Launch Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, Collector’s Edition, and Jotnar Edition.
By pre-ordering any edition God of War, you get the Kratos Risen Snow Armor and the Atreus Risen Snow Tunic. The Digital Deluxe Edition comes with the digital artbook, digital soundtrack, the PS4 theme, and the PlayStation avatar set. It also comes with some items for the game. There is the Darkdale set, which includes a tunic for Atreus, and armor, blades, and an axe grip for Kratos.
The Collector’s Edition comes with all the digital content in the Deluxe Edition, plus physical items. These items include a 16″ replica of Mjolnir, a steel book display case, 2″ Vanir Twins carvings, and a Dwarven dice set. Everything is packed into the Knowledge Keeper’s Shrine collector’s box.
God of War Ragnarok Jotnar Edition comes with even more in the Knowledge Keeper’s Shrine. On top of all the digital content and items in the Collector’s Edition, there is also the Yggdrasil Cloth Map, Legendary Draupnir Ring, a 7″ vinyl record, a Falcon, Bear, and Wolf pin set. The Dwarven dice set is replaced by the Brok dice set.
Pre-orders for the game start on July 15th. God of War Ragnarok will be coming to PS4 and PS5 on November 9th.
