Goat Simulator 3 Is Coming Out Later This Year
Goat Simulator 3 finally has a release date. Coffee Stain Studios has confirmed that the game is due for launch on November 17th.
“Exciting news straight from the goat’s mouth,” Producer Nikhat Ali announced. “Goat Simulator 3 has a launch date—Pilgor and friends will be crashing onto PlayStation 5 on November 17th.”
For those who do not know, Goat Simulator 3 is actually the second game—not the third. This will probably confuse some players thinking that there is a second installment in the franchise out there.
“We have heard that a lot of people are getting confused by the naming of our game, Goat Simulator 3,” Ali continued. “Unfortunately we have not managed to get a straight answer from our friends over at Coffee Stain North, the creators of the game, which is not totally surprising as they are a bit of a strange bunch.”
Thankfully, Game Producer Sebastian Zethraeus has a bit of an explanation. “It has been such a long time since Goat Simulator 1 came out,” he said. “Goat Simulator 2 as a title just did not encapsulate all the advancements in simulation technology that we have implemented.”
Devs released the first game back in 2014. At the time, developing ridiculous simulator games was the trend. A lot of time has passed, but it would seem that the Goat Simulator 3 team still had plenty to offer.
The comedic physics game will now have a co-op mode for up to four players. There is a full San Angora island to explore and a lot of new stuff for players to destroy. Plus, devs also added extensive goat customization options. Players will be able to deck their goats out with as much ability-infused gear as they want.
