A Flashlight Roguelike
Prepare to venture into darkness. Explore a family home for a missing member. Try not to succumb to the monsters in the dark. Today developer Under the Stairs is happy to announce the launch of their new roguelike game, Eyes In the Dark: The Curious Case of One Victoria Bloom. Eyes in the Dark places players in the small shoes of Victoria Bloom. A girl searching for her grandfather who’s lost somewhere in Bloom Manor. However, the manor has been taken over by a deep darkness. Of course, Victoria will face off against the darkness within her family home. Using only a slingshot and flashlight to begin with players will navigate this roguelike. Yet, as Victoria explores the ever changing house, she will also discover more of her grandfathers inventions to put to use.
Importantly, the Bloom family house has more to fear than just shadows. Monsters stalk the halls. They will seek to overcome and engulf Victoria. Yet by completing quests and fighting the monsters Victoria will uncover more secrets about the ever-changing house. Which also means she comes closer to finding her Grandfather.
