Even More Leaks
Concept art for the unannounced Call of Duty: Black Ops 5 has leaked online, showing off two planned multiplayer maps.
The new leaked images show off two maps from Black Ops 5 known as Stealth and Pillage. The images also hint that Treyarch’s next game could possibly take place during the Gulf War, as there seems to be an F117 aircraft in Stealth’s concept art.
The new images were originally mined from a Call of Duty: Warzone mobile test by @RealiityUK on Twitter. Alongside the Black Ops 5 images, there are also several new map images leaked from the upcoming Modern Warfare 2 game. The same anonymous person has also seemingly revealed all of the launch maps’ names from Modern Warfare 2.

It is worth noting that Treyarch’s next game is not yet officially announced, and is unlikely to be known as Black Ops 5 when released. The game is also expected to release in the year 2024 at the earliest, as Activision has previously announced its intention to release Call of Duty games every two years instead of every year. This should give future titles more development time, and effectively extending the life cycle of every new Call of Duty game starting from Modern Warfare 2.
Treyarch’s next game may still be two years away, however, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is coming later this year and is already available for pre-order. The game is set to release on October 28, 2022, on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, as well as PC.
