Call of Duty: Warzone Rebirth of the Dead Is Bringing Back Zombies

Call of Duty: Warzone Zombies Are Returning

Call of Duty: Warzone is getting an undead makeover. Season 4 Reloaded has an upcoming limited time mode Rebirth of the Dead. It is a bespoke game mode that will allow teams of four to battle with other players.

However, what separates it from the regular Warzone is that players are not carted off to the Gulag when they die. Instead, they will come back as zombies. Fans of the franchise who participated in 2020’s Zombie Royale may be familiar with this. Despite their similarities, the new event still features some changes from the earlier game mode.

Call of Duty: Warzone Rebirth of the Dead has a new Infestation meter. This meter will fill up whenever players kill zombies. It respawns every zombie on the map once it reaches its peak. There are also more ways of acquiring syringes that players will need to allow them to rise from their graves. They can obtain syringes whenever they get to kill other players. They can also find these items in crates.

Warzone’s battle royale formula is also very interesting. It gives fans many opportunities to stay in the game. Furthermore, it sounds like devs designed Rebirth of the Dead to extend the chaotic back and forth that makes Call of Duty: Warzone even more distinctive.

This new mode is not the only new feature that Season 4 Reloaded is bringing to the table. There will also be new events that add Nitro Bursts for SUVs, Terminator Bundles, and Portable Redeploy Balloons that are available for purchase in the store.

Not all fans are entirely happy with the inclusion of zombies in Call of Duty: Warzone. Some of them feel like it is the studio’s way of adding flavor to an experience that they think does not really require it. However, these concerns are in a minority especially considering how avidly the gaming community welcomes these animate corpses whenever Activision is in the mood to wheel them out.
