A Path for Support
After releasing a game more plans for it often roll out instead of stopping. Kao the Kangaroo seems no different. Today Tate Multimedia confirmed that their platforming adventure game, Kao the Kangaroo, is now playable on Steam Deck. Additionally a press release provides details about a roadmap for the future of the game. Furthermore the release also provides insight into how the game is made for the handheld platform, and comment from Kaja Borowko, Head of the Studio.
A month after its release Kao is back in action kicking butt. The platformer takes players on a journey full of adventure with a unique cast of characters. Of course, players put on the boxing gloves of Kao the Kangaroo himself and get into some platforming combat. Now, as one of 1736 verified games, it arrives on the Steam Deck. Obviously as a revival of a good old fashioned platformer it has been designed with handhelds in mind. Of course, this isn’t the only news as the press release outlines a roadmap for everyone’s favorite kangaroo.
“We’re excited that, so soon after the game’s initial launch on console and PC, Steam Deck players can now also take Kao the Kangaroo on.” Says Borowko. “The reaction has been so positive and, along with the DLC already available – and future DLC as laid out official Kao Road Map – we’re happy to confirm Kao has a bright future ahead.”
Kao the Kangaroo is available now on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Steam (including Steam Deck). So, are you ready to head to handheld with the boxing kangaroo?
