Focus Showcase is Coming This Month
Focus Entertainment has confirmed that they will announce an official release date for their upcoming title, A Plague Tale: Requiem, later this month.
A Plague Tale: Requiem has finally shown off its newest trailer during the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase event yesterday. However, fans were left concerned that the trailer had ended with the release year 2022 and without any specific release date or release window.
Luckily, Focus Entertainment has decided to put the fans’ minds at ease by revealing that the studio is simply holding back information for their own event. The studio has confirmed that they plan on announcing the official release date during their own upcoming event known as “Focus Showcase” which is officially slated for June 23, 2022.
“After the original game’s epic finale to a heartbreaking story of resilience, players will embark on the emotional journey’s second chapter,” Asobo Studio’s head of communications Aurélie Belzanne previously said of Requiem.
The new trailer was released during the Xbox and Bethesda Game Showcase, during which, Xbox has shown off multiple first-party titles including Starfield, Redfall, Forza Motorsport, and many more.
A Plague Tale: Requiem is slated for release sometime in 2022 on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. The game is also coming to Xbox Game Pass on day 1.
