Zero in your scope. Breathe. And prepare to take the shot. Today developer Rebellion is happy to unveil a new trailer for their upcoming installment of the Sniper Elite series, Sniper Elite 5. The new trailer is focusing on one of the series’ claims to fame: the slow-mo kill camera. Additionally, a press release provides further details about all the new features coming with Sniper Elite 5.Â
The Sniper Elite series places players in control of an expert sniper behind enemy lines during WWII. Players will use a mix of stealth, skill, and a little luck, to accomplish their missions and escape with their lives. Of course, one of the main draws of the game comes from the feeling of being an elite sniper. A part of this feeling is delivered through the slow-mo kill camera that has been a staple of the series since the first Sniper Elite. And Sniper Elite 5 is no exception.Â
In fact, the trailer highlights the new features that are coming to the kill cam in Sniper Elite 5. For instance, bullets can now ricochet off of bones in the body causing even more internal damage. Additionally, pistols, knives, and other weapons can now also trigger the kill cam. Now players can experiment the kill cam with an arsenal of painstakingly authentic weapons and figure out their own favorites.Â
Sniper Elite 5 is releasing on May 26th, 2022. It will be available on Xbox and PlayStation Consoles as well as PC via Steam and the Windows Store. So, are you ready to become a sniping legend?Â
