New World’s Latest Update Introduces PVP Changes And More
Amazon Game Studios is a subsidiary of the massive company that developers and publishes video games. The company recently released Lost Ark Online and previously worked on Crucible. In 2021, fans around the world were hyped for New World, their fantasy MMORPG. The game released to mixed reviews and Amazon have been working on improving it since then. In its latest update, the developers introduces Arenas and changes to the PVP modes.
The developers have introduced 3v3 Player v Player Arenas, which is a small-scale PVP game mode where players fight for glory and more. Each match is a best of 5 contest and players above level 20 can queue from anywhere in Aeternum. Furthermore, players can look forward to a PVP Reward Track which features PVP XP and Azoth Salt as currencies. Players who progress will unlock in-game achievements, titles and exclusives rewards.
Additionally, players can return to the Depths and face brand new challenges. The Depths is a weekly Expedition with three new types of mutators. The three new mutators are Overgrown, Fiendish and Barbaric. Each mutator grants players unique effects and benefits. Besides that, players interested in the game’s story can continue to learn about the Vangarian Knights.
The developers have also made various quality of life improvements and fixes to the world experience. These changes were based on community feedback and more.
In New World, players enter Aeternum, where they must defeat enemies and explore a massive world.
