Players who complete the game will have access to Boss Rush, where Samus must fight against the most formidable opponents. At the end of each battle, missiles are restored but any damage taken remains. In Survival Rush, which is unlocked upon completion of Boss Rush, players must defeat as many bosses as possible before the timer expires.

Players can access Dread Rush upon completion of the Dread Mode. In this mode, players will challenge twelve bosses without stopping and one hit means defeat. However, fans will be able to improve their game in the Practice Mode and learn to defeat bosses as fast as they can.

The free update will provide a lot of fun and hours for experienced players.

In Metroid Dread, bounty hunter Samus Aran heads to planet ZDR where she learns that it has been overrun by alien lifeform and other menaces. Samus must now hunt or be hunted as she fights for the planet and her own survival. Players will fight various enemies and explore an expansive planet.
