Record and Block BreakingÂ
Star Wars has always been a franchise that breaks records and goes beyond expectations. Apparently, the Lego version is no different. Today Warner Bros. Games announced that Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker saga has officially broken the record for largest Lego console game launch. With over 3.2 million units selling globally in the first two weeks, the game has exceeded the record on every platform, in every region, and of every edition.Â
Of course, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga boasts the largest roster of characters, vehicles, and more out of any Lego Star Wars to date. Additionally, alongside the record breaking announcement, Warner Bros. Games released two new character packs that made the expansive roster of characters even larger. The packs, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and The Classic Characters packs, introduced players to fan favorites in Lego form. Characters such as Jyn Erso, Cassian Andor, as well as classic variants of, Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader all make an appearance.Â
Of course both of these packs are available for stand-alone purchase. However, they are also a part of the season pass. The season pass contains all seven content packs. The content packs range from Rogue One to the Bad Batch and beyond. Those who purchase the season pass can take all of their favorite Star Wars characters across the galaxy.Â
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is available now on all platforms. Currently, the game costs $59.99 for the standard version. Additionally, the deluxe edition is available for $69.99.
