Comedy and Retro AdventureÂ
Welcome to a world where fourth walls are meant to be broken and boundaries pushed. Today BitNine Studios shared more screenshots of their upcoming comedic adventure game, Terrorbane, that releases on April 1st. The screenshots show off some of the levels players get to experience in the game. In addition to the screenshots, a press release provides more details about the game and the screenshots.Â
Terrorbane introduces the player to… the player. In Terrorbane you play as a video game tester playing a JRPG inspired retro game. Players enter a crazy and comical world where bugs in the game become their friends. However, during the whole testing you will encounter the game’s Developer. The Developer will pop up to comment on every little thing that you do, as you cheat, exploit, and speed run your way through his game. So, as the play tester you have to open up your bug list to keep exploiting the game as you figure out how to make the game, and all games, work.Â
 A trailer, released last month, gives players a glimpse of the game’s art style. In addition the trailer, featuring the Developer, really sets the tone for game itself. Basically, it’s a funny adventure and the trailer makes sure players know that.Â
Terrorbane is coming to Nintendo Switch and PC on April 1st, 2022. Currently players can wish list the game on Steam. Additionally, a demo is available for play right now. So get meta, grab your bug list, and break some fourth walls.Â
