Sony Will Plant Trees if You Earn This Trophy in Horizon Forbidden West

Sony Is Planting Trees if You Get This Trophy in Horizon Forbidden West

Sony has promised to plant trees for everyone who completes the “Reaching the Daunt” trophy found in Horizon Forbidden West. Sony will be working with the Arbor Day Foundation. This charity focuses on replanting forests to make sure a tree is planted for every person who completes this trophy.

The Arbor Day Foundation will plant trees all across the United States. This includes reforestation of Douglas County Forest in Wisconsin, the Sheep Fire Private Lands in California, and Torreya State Park in Florida. Deforestation is a problem in these areas that has impacted local wildlife. You can see how the Arbor Day Foundation plans to help here.

It isn’t currently clear what a player needs to do to earn the “Reaching the Daunt” trophy in Horizon Forbidden West. I doubt it is very hard, however. Chances are it is something not to do with the story.

If you want to help out, you just have to play and earn the trophy before March 25. Sony is asking a lot of players here. Playing one of the most anticipated games of the year? I don’t know if I have it in me.

Sony is hoping to plant at least 288,000 trees. Hopefully, they can go above and beyond that. Trees are pretty dang important last I looked.

This charity event may be just another way to advertise Horizon Forbidden West, but it is still doing a great thing. In the end, that’s all that really matters.
