Spellforce III Reforced’s Release Has Been Delayed On Console

THQ Nordic is one of the most popular publishers in the video gaming industry. The company has a ton of titles under its portfolio including Destroy All Humans!, Elex, Kingdoms of Amalur and more. One of its major titles includes the Spellforce franchise. Spellforce III Reforced is an upcoming title that is set to launch on console platforms later this year. Today, unfortunately, THQ Nordic has announced that the console release for the game will be delayed. Spell Force III Reforced will now release on June 7th, 2022.

Via its official Twitter, the company stated, “The development of #SpellForceReforced is going to take a little bit more time. In order to bring the best possible RPG/RTS to consoles, we want to make sure the game is in the best possible shape before #SpellForce III makes its debut on consoles slightly later, on June 7, 2022.”

The Covid-19 pandemic has thoroughly affected the gaming industry. Various AAA and indie titles have suffered from unforeseen delays as a result of the pandemic and its strain on working from home. To produce a video game, there are multiple working parts, and some companies need more time to perfect their title.

Spellforce III Reforced is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. It is a unique mix of RPG and RTS elements that are smoothly blended for a unique experience. Some of the features include an epic storyline, customization of heroes and streamlined quality for consoles.
