Skul The Hero Slayer Gets Update in time For GamePass

Reformation

Recently surpassing one million global sales many people may be wondering what’s next for Skul: The Hero Slayer. The answer: it’s coming to Xbox GamePass. That’s right NEOWIZ’s hit action hack-and-slash roguelike, Skul: The Hero Slayer, is coming to the GamePass with an update. Additionally, a press release provides more details about the update and the game’s arrival on GamePass.

Skul The Hero Slayer feature

Skul: The Hero Slayer is an action platformer that places players in the role of Skul. Skul is a little skeleton warrior who has a special ability. This ability involves swapping his skeleton head out for a different one. Of course, switching Skul’s… skull… grants him new powers, and wearing two at once allows for devastating combos. As the player progresses through the game they will find which skulls fit their playstyle the best.

Speaking of skulls. In addition to arriving on Xbox Gamepass, the game is receiving an update. The Reformation update is more of a balance update, according to the press release. The update is affecting many of Skul’s wearable skulls changing things like damage and abilities. Additional changes include skill cooldowns, range, and more. Additionally, the update also includes new visual changes to improve the game’s look. Furthermore, the update adds hit delay for every single skull that the player can wear.

Skul: The Hero Slayer is available now on Xbox and PC GamePass. The full patch notes for the update are available on Skul: The Hero Slayer’s Steam Page. So, Xbox players, are you going to be trying out Skul?
