Reintroducing Kao The KangarooÂ
Time to get on your boxing gloves and beat down some baddies. Tate Multimedia is happy to show off the reintroduction of action adventure game Kao The Kangaroo with a demo on Steam Next Fest. Additionally a press release provides more details about the demo, as well as, what fans can expect in the full game. Alongside the press release comes a teaser trailer for the demo, giving fans a glimpse of the gameplay.Â
Kao The Kangaroo was originally an X-Ray Interactive game. It sold more than 700,000 units on older systems and has now made its return. The game places players in control of the titular character as he embarks on a quest. His mission? To find his missing sister and solve the mystery surrounding his long-lost father. Players will play as Kao as he explores a colorful world battling bad guys and facing famous, now evil, fighting masters. Of course, players will be using Kao’s magical boxing gloves to help get them through the adventure.Â
However, the demo includes a look at just one level, Dark Forest that will include forty minutes of gameplay. A teaser for the demo gives players a glimpse of the gameplay they may experience during the demo. Additionally the teaser gives fans of the series a good look at the new and better looking Kao The Kangaroo.Â

The demo for Kao The Kangaroo is available on Steam Next Fest now until the 28th of February. Additionally the demo is the first of the new Kao The Kangaroo game.
