Halo Announcer: “Betrayal”
Halo Infinite’s launch has been very different from previous games in the series. The multiplayer was released early as a free-to-play model and the campaign is missing features that have become staples in the franchise. As it stands, players cannot play co-op, they cannot replay missions, and the cannot create maps in Forge.
All these features are coming at some point though. Unfortunately, the co-op and Forge modes have suffered a further delay. The plan was to have co-op campaign available with the launch of Season 2, which was scheduled for May. Forge mode is to launch with Season 3, which will hopefully launch in August.
Joseph Staten, Head of Creative at 343 Industries, has announced that the plans for Halo Infinite’s seasonal roadmap had to be delayed. This roadmap supposedly had Forge and co-op on it. Unfortunately, there is something about it that had it pushed back from January, which is when it was expected.
Hey folks. In November, I said we’d have a #HaloInfinite update on our Seasonal roadmap, Co-Op, and Forge in January. We need more time to finalize our plans so what we share is something you can rely on. This work is my top priority, and we’ll have an update as soon as we can.

Anyone who plays online games or works on them knows that maintaining and balancing them is a full-time job. The multiplayer modes are still going through changes to best suit players. Hopefully, the ongoing updates to the game do not impede the progress being made on future content. Halo Infinite is available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
