Welcome Sentinel, to the Tower
Will you bear the burden of the dreaded Tower of Babylon? You can see if you can handle it soon. Developer Square Enix announced today that their co-op RPG game, Babylon’s Fall, is getting a demo later in February. A press release about the demo provides details about, not only the content of the demo, but about the game in general.Â
Babylon’s Fall is an action RPG game with co-op features. The game places players into the role of a Sentinel a special warrior who use equipment known as Gideon Coffins. With their special Gideon Coffin players will embark on an adventure to conquer the monolithic Tower of Babylon. The once conscript soldiers of the Empire, the Sentinels now face their largest challenge in the tower, hopefully their skills, weaponry, and coffins can help them deal with the challenges ahead. In addition to being a modification to the player, the Gideon Coffin provides different ways to play. Alongside you duel-wield weapons in your hands, your coffin allows you to use even more. That’s right the Gideon Coffin allows players to quad wield different weapons and combine them to find your perfect playstyle.
Now, coming February 25th, PlayStation players get a first look at the game with a free demo. Additionally the demo gives PlayStation 4 and 5 players early access, through single-player or co-op, to the opening section of the game. Any progress you make, including achievements you earn, carry over to the full version of the game. Basically the demo gives players a chance to witness the mighty power of the Sentinels, as well as face the burden they carry.Â
Currently, Babylon’s Fall is set for a March 3rd, 2022 worldwide release. However, players that pre-order the deluxe version of the game gain early-access to the game on February 28th. So, are you ready to scale the Tower of Babylon?Â
