This Is the 8th Free Update for Children of Morta
While others may or may not be celebrating Valentine’s Day today fans of Children of Morta have an entirely different reason to celebrate. This critically acclaimed rogue-lite hack-n-slash RPG from Dead Mage and 11 bit studios has just dropped its 8th and final free update in their long roadmap of free content. It’s called Fellowship Sanctuary.
So what exactly does this free update for Children of Morta, Fellowship Sanctuary, bring to the table? It introduces an online co-op experience where players will be able to jump into the action with friends (and their potential Valentine) from anywhere. In addition to this new co-op experience with Fellowship Sanctuary anyone who hasn’t played Children of Morta will be able to scoop it up from Steam for free to try for a limited time. It’s available right now until February 18th at 10 AM PST/1 PM EST. And if you fall in love with the game then during this same time period Children of Morta will be on sale on Steam as well. 65% off the base game, 60% off the Complete Edition which includes both the Paws and Claws charity, and the Ancient Spirits new character paid DLCs.
So far this update is for the Steam however 11 bit studios has expressed how hard Dead Mage is working to get the console and GOG players the same experiences as Steam players. There’s no release window set but this announcement is sure to be right around the corner!
