LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Coming This April

Gameplay Trailer Released on Twitter

Looks like Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be coming out on April 5, 2022. According to the news release, this will be the biggest Lego game yet. And from the looks of the Twitter gameplay video, it looks as if the claim might be true.

Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga

For the Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Lego game, means there are three hundred characters that can be unlocked and played. Players can also play through the Star War movie storylines, and explore the various worlds in the Star Wars universe.  This means too that players can fly on various ships, not only travel but to take part in various space battles.

And of course, it looks like there’s a range of combat abilities too. Whether it is the use of the Force, various guns, or the infamous lightsabers, your character will be able to vigorously defend themselves from any situation – or take cover and figure out the best way to go from here.

However, not every ability will be unlockable at the same time. It looks like exploration is expected and rewarded with the use of something called Kyber Bricks, which can be used to upgrade not only items but characters, to make them far more powerful. Thankfully, it looks like this Lego game is multi-platform. By Multi-platform, it looks as if it will be released on every major platform at the same time: PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox X|S, and PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

This game has been a massive undertaking, and an ambitious one, and it shows. While this Star Wars Lego game was originally announced in 2020, and expected to come out in 2021, there have been various delays. Which, of course, can be blamed on various things. But it looks as if the team working on this Lego experience used the time well. It’s honestly quite impressive to watch.

Currently, the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga can be pre-ordered for 59.99 USD for the standard edition, and 69.99 USD for the Deluxe version on Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam, Xbox One, Xbox X|S, and PlayStation 4 and 5.
