Today, Maximum Games announced the release date of their next game, In Nightmare. Maximum Games has created several popular games including Among Us and Five Nights at Freddy’s. With a well-established catalogue, what’s in store for their next release?
In Nightmare is the story of a young boy who falls into a deep sleep after shutting himself off from his own harsh reality. Wanting to escape to a better place, he soon finds himself trapped in a dark whimsical world created from his own memories. Players must escape from the various nightmares that dominate his dreamworld.
It is up to the players to help him overcome these fears that are trying to trap him forever. So players will have to sneak around as they search for clues to uncover the truth. Luckily, players will have their dream spirit to help guide them along the way, assessing threats and detecting invisible pathways.
In Nightmare is a narrative-driven horror-adventure game set in this chilling dreamworld. Therefore, players will have to quickly use their wits to solve a variety of puzzles as they frantically run and hide from countless horrifying creatures.
