Histera: Fall of Human Gameplay Update Video Released

Nothing Stays the Same

Fight your battles in an ever-changing arena that moves through time. Welcome to the setting of StickyLock’s upcoming FPS Histera: Fall of Human. Today, the game released its gameplay update trailer alongside a press release that provides more detail on the new take on FPS games.

Histera Feature

Where most games would consider a “glitch” harmful to the overall gameplay, Histera centers their gameplay around one. In Histera the Glitch is a gameplay event that happens within matches that shifts the arena. Players are transported through era’s including a prehistoric plateau, war-torn Novgorod, and a futuristic metropolis. Not only are the maps changing throughout the match but so are the players tools and weapons. Each change brings new mechanics and ways to play that players must adapt to.

The gameplay trailer shows off these gameplay elements as well as an early look at graphics and content.

Additionally, the press release focuses on the team oriented play of the game. It stresses communication as a necessity as locating the ever-changing weapons gives your team the tools it needs to survive.

“From bows and arrows and gas grenades, to spears and sniper rifles, teamwork and communication will be key to finding them, keeping them and dominating your opponents.” Says the release.

Not only is Histera bringing a new mechanic into the FPS genre, but it is free to play. Also, according to StickyLock, the game is very interested in community interaction. With plan to work on a level editor in the future, StickLocks will provide players a way to mess with the Glitch themselves, creating their own changing arenas through the Steam Workshop.

Currently, Histera plans to launch on Steam early acces with the Deathmatch game mode at its core. The tides of battle can change at any moment, will you be ready?
