Call of Duty Is Collaborating With Attack on Titan
Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone are collaborating with hit anime series Attack on Titan. The merge will happen in the games’ mid-season updates—which, in turn, are coming up later this month. Now entering its final season, the elements of the series will be incorporated into the similarly brutal worlds of the CoD titles.
New items are coming to the games. Developers made sure that the upcoming content will not only appease “superfans of the franchise.” According to them, it will also satisfy other Call of Duty players who have not followed the anime series.
Call of Duty players can expect new Legendary weapon blueprints. These will include the Titan Piercer. As its name suggests, the blade will be capable of killing Titans. The other blueprints are going to be the. Ymir Curse assault rifle, and the Historia SMG. Moreover, players can also obtain a new Survey Corps Operator skin for their characters. An available 10-item bundle will give players access to emblems, stickers, and many more.
The Call of Duty and Attack on Titan collaboration will happen on January 20th. However, there will be a mid-season update for both Vanguard and Warzone a week earlier. Release dates will be January 11th for Vanguard and January 12th for Warzone. The updates will bring the Welgun SMG, the new Operator Isabella, and some updates to Vanguard’s Zombies mode.
Devs are bringing in an introduction to Vanguard’s Zombies Season Two story via The Void. This is a new portion of the Shi No Numa map that teleports players through a portal to an alternate dimension. While players are in The Void, they can play classic survival rounds and also get rewards for every three rounds that they manage to survive in. After three rounds, they will have the choice to flee or continue surviving.
