Indie developers have pushed the video game industry notwithstanding the criticisms it has faced. RedPilzStudio is an independent video game developer based in France that has released the official announcement trailer of its upcoming title, The Ranchers. The almost three minute long trailer gives fans insight into the title and much more.
The Ranchers is described as a one to four player farm simulator based on the country life. As a result, players will have a wide array of tasks and options to carry out. Some of these tasks include raising animals, growing crops, building dream homes and of course, exploring a massive world.
The game’s trailer is quite exciting. The game is easy on the eyes and there seems to be a wide variety of activities for players to enjoy. The biggest concern of viewers thus far is whether the game will live up to the hype.
The game is based upon the premise that players leave behind the city life in search of a quieter lifestyle. However, although nature is much quieter than the metropolis, there is a lot of stuff to do and players will be put to the test to turn their ranch into a prosperous business.
The Ranchers has a ton of features including a trade guild and auction market, online cooperation and developing the ranch.
