Splitgate’s Winter Update Introduces Holiday Theme And Much More
1047 Games are video game developers who released Splitgate earlier this year into open beta. Splitgate is a fast-paced, sci-fi shooter. It mixes elements of Portal and Halo to make for a unique and enjoyable experience. Since the game’s release, the developers have worked to release more content for the title. Today, 1047 Games has turned the arena into a winter wonderland to celebrate the holidays. The holiday theme introduces some fresh, cool content for players to enjoy. To celebrate the launch of the Winter Update, the developers have released a minute-long teaser trailer. The teaser shares some Christmas joy as the music fits the theme and highlights various maps, weapons and more. The trailer ends with a Santa skin, as expected!
The Winter Update will bring new changes and updates. Abyss, Stadium and Pantheon are now covered in snow while the main menu now has a wintery theme. Furthermore, there are brand new community challenges and rewards for players to try.
Additionally, the developers have released new weapon armor and skins with a Christmas theme. Players who are interested can also purchase #TeamSeas skins and the proceeds will go to a foundation that seeks to remove waste from the oceans.
Finally, the developers have announced that the Season 0 Battle Pass has been extended into early next year, so players have some time to unlock cool skins, weapon armor and more. There is more content coming next year for players to enjoy as well.
