PS5 File Leaked for Horizon Forbidden West

The Game Is Massive, With Size Differences Between North America and Europe

Horizon Forbidden West is one of the most highly anticipated games of 2022. How could it not be, with the word of being able to explore a strange and wonderful new world, and being able to go against enemies like a fire-breathing mammoth and the sunbird? But for those that are planning to buy a copy, it’s best to clear out space on your PS5. There’s been a leak of how large the North American and European versions will be, and the new Horizon game is massive.

For the North American version, the game will be 85.913 GB; in other global regions, this will be 96.350 GB. The difference is said to be due to the different language requirements that are required by the European Union.

And this is currently before the day one patch that will come out on Horizon Forbidden West’s launch. So, the game may take up even more space, with patches that come in the future, not to mention possible DLCs.

However, these may not be the final numbers for file size when it comes to Horizon: Forbidden West. These were found by a fan, who also claims that there can be a 10-20GB difference. As Guerrilla Games and PlayStation have yet to comment or confirm that this is the true size of the game, it’s best to take it as a tentative estimate at best.

Still, it’s something to keep in mind, especially if operating with a PlayStation 5 that has very little storage space. It does mean, however, that there is bound to be a lot of great graphics and more when it comes to the game itself.

Horizon: Forbidden West can be preloaded as early as February 11, 2022, and will release on February 18, 2022, on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
