PlayStation Plus Games For January Have Been Officially Announced

In October 2021, Sony announced that its service, PlayStation Plus, was nearing 50 million subscribers. The service has grown in popularity and for good reason, as Sony gives away titles each month to its subscribers. In November, the company unveiled that Kingdoms of Amalur, Knockout City and First Class Trouble would be available. Today, Adam Michel, a Director at Sony Interactive Entertainment, announced the lineup for PlayStation Plus games in January 2022. Suffice to say, Sony is kicking off 2022 with a bang!

From January 4th until February 1st, PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to add Deep Rock Galactic, Dirt 5 and Persona 5 Strikers to their library for free. Furthermore, this announcement serves as a reminder for December’s games. Subscribers can claim Godfall: Challenger Edition, Mortal Shell and Lego DC Super Villains by January 3rd, 2022.

Deep Rock Galactic is a co-op FPS experience that is set to launch on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on January 4th. Players must prepare to fight endless hordes of alien monsters in procedurally generated caves. Today, the developers released the game’s launch trailer for its upcoming release. The two minute long trailer gives fans an insight into the gameplay, combat and more.

Dirt 5 allows players to drive through famous tracks in different types of cars including rally icons, trucks and GT heroes. Players can venture into the most unique off-road experience thus far. Persona 5 Strikers, available solely on the PlayStation 4, throws players into an epic road trip across Japan. Players must control their team during combat as they search for the truth behind a mysterious crisis.
